Home-grown camping brand OLPRO are on track for significant growth over the next two years bucking the retail trend for 2018.
The Worcestershire company based by the Malvern Hills increased its turnover by 20% on the previous year with profits growing in parallel.
Its turnover is now £1.4m and the company, which recently turned seven, is showing no signs of slowing down its ambitious plans for the future.
Managing Director, Daniel Walton said: “The amount we invest in our company, in terms of training, staff well being and development is really paying off.
“We now have a strong, established team who work incredibly hard to grow the company. With a high level of economic uncertainty and consumers clearly concerned about rising costs, we’ve taken action to bring in more direct sales, and offer a number of attractive features for customers buying from us, such as 0% finance, click and collect, hassle free returns and free shipping on everything we do.
“We also invested heavily in design, creating a brand that really stands out, is great quality and affordable, central to our ethos.”
For 2019, OLPRO is recruiting more apprentices to help develop training and employment in Worcestershire, and the company is also launching 25 new camping products into the market, all designed in Little Witley.
