The Worcestershire Ambassadors annual ball, held at the West Midlands Safari Park, has raised over £35,000 for two county charities: the Worcestershire Community Trust and St Paul’s Hostel.

More than 350 people attended the 60s-themed event.

Kevin Powell, chair of the Worcestershire Ambassadors said: “Our annual ball is our flagship event and I was delighted to see so many Ambassadors and businesses attending.

“Our charitable focus for this year is mental health and both our chosen charities have vital roles to play in helping people who are struggling. They will be able to put the money raised to good use to help and support people here in the heart of Worcestershire.”
