Worcester communications company celebrates ten years in business

CGM 10th anniversary Sept 2020

Worcester communications consultancy Chris Green Media is marking its tenth anniversary with the launch of a new website and a series of online courses and events.

Founded by award-winning journalists Chris and Teresa Green, the company provides PR, media training, creative, media production and publishing services to businesses across the UK.

Managing partner Chris Green said: “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved over the past decade and although we’re unable to celebrate our anniversary in the traditional way with valued clients and contacts, lockdown has given us the opportunity to plan for the future.

“The new website showcases our services, media training, creative, video and photography partners and some of the amazing projects we’ve been involved in. These include charity dance spectacular Strictly Worcestershire and the unveiling of the Celebration Statue in honour of legendary West Bromwich Albion players Laurie Cunningham, Cyrille Regis and Brendon Batson, which was covered by every major media organisation in the country.”

Chris Green’s experience as a BBC Radio 4 and Radio 5 Live reporter and producer has prompted Radio CGM – The Storytelling Podcast, featuring interviewees from sport, the arts and business. Media relations partner Teresa Green will be putting many years of sports journalism know-how to good use in her new role as communications director of Worcestershire Cricket Board.

CGM will also be increasing the range of support available to would-be authors following an upturn in enquiries about self-publishing over the last few months and rolling out new online media training courses including webinar presentation training. The company’s Business Media Club marks its seventh anniversary with a virtual celebration on Friday, October 23. Proceeds will support the club’s charity Worcester Foodbank.
