A Worcester based company which has been successfully supplying lighting and alarms to house builders for more than 20 years, won The Queen’s Award for Enterprise twice and the Princess Royal Training Award, among other accolades, has partnered with electric vehicle charger manufacturer Project EV.

Green Lighting Ltd has supplied the new build market for more than two decades with lighting, alarms, and electrical accessories through direct specification. This exclusive deal to supply up to 50k units of GL branded chargers per annum is timely. With the pending introduction of Building Regulation Part S, EV chargers will become a standard within the house builder specification.

Anthony Ottway, Managing Director of Green Lighting, said: “To have the opportunity to take an established product to the house builder market doesn’t happen very often, we are delighted! We have sampled many different manufacturers, not one came close to the reliability and warranties offered by Project EV. The product range incorporates solutions that won’t require an earth spike and enable communal charging for apartments, providing every solution that our clients will face.”

The GL chargers will take on a new design that is an aesthetically pleasing solution required by the UK house builder. Since Covid, GL have worked closer than ever with their clients ensuring that forecasted stock is ring fenced. The same will apply to EV Chargers as they go into production.
