When in Rome says Stay at Home (and raise a glass!)

When in Rome

Local wine importer, When in Rome, has joined the call for people to stay at home by changing the name of its business to When in Home.

On World Health Day, April 7, the Stroud-based business, which specialises in selling good value Italian craft wines in alternate format, changed its name across all social media platforms in a bid to encourage more of its followers to stay safe by staying at home amid the current corvid-19 pandemic.

When in Rome CEO and co-founder Rob Malin said of the change: “We wanted to do our bit to remind consumers that they can do their bit by staying at home at this time. We have always promoted our box wines as the perfect choice for in-home drinking and so this felt like a natural extension of that message”.
