Close to 70 local, national and international employers and institutions will showcase education and career opportunities to hundreds of students from across West Oxfordshire.
The Careers Fair is an initiative of the West Oxfordshire Learning Partnership (WOLP), which is made up of eight schools and colleges from the area: Abingdon & Witney College, Bartholomew School, Burford School, Carterton Community College, Chipping Norton School, Henry Box School, Marlborough School and Wood Green School.
For the first time, the Careers Fair will be hosted by Abingdon & Witney College at their Witney campus. Students and parents will be able to speak to exhibitors about job opportunities, university life, and other important information to help inspire ideas about their future after school.
There will also be a series of talks on post-16 options, higher education and apprenticeships that visitors can attend. Major employers and institutions who will be attending include Army Careers, Oxford Brookes University, NHS, Specsavers, Oxfordshire County Council, and BMW.
