Staff at the UK’s leading home-delivery wine merchant are popping corks after their main call centre offices were officially reopened following a major refurbishment.
And with the wine merchants annually taking on a large number of additional staff members to temporarily cover the festive period, Cobus needed to allow for adaptation of the allocated workspace to allow for a temporary growth in capacity.’
The family-run firm, also based in Gloucester, achieved the ambitious project by installing up to 200 work stations, alongside additional desking and boardroom tables.
Phil McInnes, project manager at Cobus, said: “Using our 40 years’ experience in interior design, the team were able to tackle the difficult challenge of providing extra space for the expected surge in staff by working very closely with Laithwaite’s Wines from the initial design consultation, right through to the installation stage and ongoing aftercare. The end result was a great success.”
A spokesperson at Laithwaite’s Wines, said: “From start to finish, the service planning and delivery was excellent. The fitters couldn’t have been any better, always accommodating and completing the job on time, and always leaving the site clean and tidy.
“The staff love the feeling of the space around them, visually it looks great. I cannot speak more highly of the Cobus team.”
