Award winning Indian and Thai restaurant The Spice Lodge are relaunching with a new menu, chefs, management team, and branding of the restaurant located next to Eagle Tower on Montpellier Drive in Cheltenham.
The Spice Lodge is proud to offer some of the very best in Indian, Thai and Asian fusion Cuisine. Their range of fine dishes will not fail to create a mouth-watering experience and they pride themselves on excellent service.
Housed in a beautiful mansion, the Spice Lodge plays home to 5 separate rooms which serve as a perfect venue for private parties and family gatherings. Ideal for intimate romantic meals, business lunches, private functions, parties and wedding receptions, the Spice Lodge can cater for between 2 and 200 guests in house or cater for up to a 1000 for outdoor requests.
The menu, which has been created by award winning Chef, Ram Kumar who has worked in some of India’s best and finest known hotels, including the 5 star Taj Hotel and also the Grand Hyatt Dubai before joining Spice Lodge.
Specialities include Tawali Sea Bass; pan fried sea bass, spiced ratatouille, cauliflower fritter, moilee sauce. Gosht Nawabi; spiced rack of salt marsh lamb rack, root vegetables, keema kedgeree. Palak Panneer; cottage cheese and spinach cooked with cumin, garlic kasoori methi. Or diners may like to try the more traditional dishes of a Murgh Jalfrazi; chargrilled chicken pieces cooked with onions and green peppers in a thick spicy sauce or a Gosht Rogan Josh; a traditional lamb curry from the North West frontier of India.
