Tech firm signs up for first unit at Foxcombe

The first occupier at a major new development on Abingdon Business Park has been signed up the day after completion.

KFP Total IT Solutions, which provides IT solutions for the retail industry, has taken 14,500 sq ft of tech space at Foxcombe on a 10-year lease. It relocated from a 4,000 sq ft facility at Blacklands Way, also on the Park.

More than 30 staff are moving into the new building following a fit out as the company looks to expand.

Foxcombe (49,317 sq ft) is owned by Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP with XLB appointed as asset and development management partner. It was a speculative development which reached practical completion in May.

John Moss, CEO of KFP, said: “Our expansion over the past five years has been so significant that we needed to find large state-of-the-art premises very quickly. Working with XLB and Rockspring we were able to achieve this in 12 weeks.”

Abingdon Business Park is a 50-acre mixed-use site next to the A34. It is home to 35 businesses employing more than 2,000 people.
