I love dancing – the only way to get Tony to dance is by a goal and challenge. As our dance teacher Sharon Tilki will confirm, he is a challenge! Despite saying never again after Strictly 2017, I secretly believe he enjoys it. Seriously, it is a great way of raising money for such worthy causes and the dancers are putting on a show complimented by a glittering evening thanks to all those involved and their hard work in achieving this, including the Worcestershire Ambassadors this year.

Our charity is Acorns Children’s Hospice, Worcester, a charity very close to our hearts. Many people give to adult hospices but unless you have been personally affected children’s hospices often miss out so we are pleased to do our bit to redress that balance.

One of the joys of dancing is you are transported away from the day to day pressures of work. I have my own family law practice which involves dealing with people going through a particularly troubling period in their lives and Tony is a circuit judge sitting in Crown Court dealing with serious crime – of course dressing up is a daily occurrence for Tony although the spray tan is reserved only for the Strictly event!

We are really excited and looking forward to sharing this occasion with family and friends, and wish everyone taking part, and our fellow dancers, a wonderful evening and the best of luck.
