Warwickshire based technology company Tisski is to partner with Basildon Borough Council to modernise its IT systems, including those associated with Waste Services.

The programme will see a number of current systems migrated in to a single, cloud based digital platform, removing time-consuming processes for Council employees and giving residents and businesses a new customer experience.

Scott Logan, Chief Executive, Basildon Council said: “We have three clear principles for transforming the way we provide services across the borough. We aim to simplify, standardise and automate, giving greater value to the public.

“Part of this programme will be focused on our recently approved waste strategy and will help move away from paper-based processes, to a digital, environmentally friendly service.”

Anna Assassa, Chief Executive Officer, Tisski, said: “Basildon Council’s vision for the borough will set the standard for other organisations across the country. We have worked closely with the Council team and look forward to helping them deliver a service that residents and businesses across the borough will be proud of.”
