St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics has further strengthened its team of industry professionals with the promotion of James Irwin-Singer, from Development Manager to Senior Development Manager.

James, who is RICS accredited with more than 9 years’ experience in managing real estate portfolios, joined the company in July 2018 and has since been responsible for a number of successful deals including a 196,000 sq ft pre-let to Stovax & Gazco at SkyPark in Exeter and the delivery and letting of three new speculative units at Nunnery Park in Worcester.

Prior to joining St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, James worked for a Midlands-based commercial developer, having qualified with Savills in 2014. In his new role as Senior Development Manager, he will be responsible for delivering commercial developments, creating development agreements and sourcing new opportunities across the UK.

James said: “While 2020 presented many challenges, the deals we have secured as a business are testament to the best-in-class service that we provide for our customers. I’m delighted to be starting the new year with such positive news and look forward to building on our strong development track record.”

David Binks, Senior Director – Leasing at St. Modwen Industrial and Logistics, added: “We are committed to investing in and promoting our best talent. James has made a significant contribution which has led to a number of pivotal successes for the business.

“We look forward to seeing him continue to support our growth through strong partnerships and development agreements.”

St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics is planning to grow its committed pipeline to c. 1.5m sq ft during 2021. With a total potential pipeline of 19m sq ft, the business is well positioned to capitalise on the strong market demand for modern industrial and logistics space.
