Vehicle safety specialist Sentinel Systems has moved to new premises in Cirencester to support the company’s expansion.
Previously based in Kemble for over 10 years, the thriving vehicle safety business had outgrown its facilities and needed a new headquarters to match its ambitious plans.
With ongoing growth in staff numbers and more space needed for product testing and development, it was important that Sentinel’s new premises were well located and offered improved office, warehouse and factory facilities.
Central Cirencester proved to be the ideal location, and the company completed the move to Querns Business Centre at the end of August.
The new premises is 2.5 times larger than their previous unit, with increased office space, warehousing and room for a new test and development facility to support their latest vehicle safety products.
This new R&D area will enable Sentinel to push forward on further development of their vehicle radar systems, which include reversing and SafetyStop™ Radar Auto Braking systems.
As well as developing and evaluating product performance, the new facility will also allow the team to explore additional applications for products including their StarVision low light colour cameras.
The new office space boasts additional meeting rooms and a much more spacious working environment, ready to support the company’s plans to grow its sales and marketing function.
While the company’s address has changed, their telephone number, email addresses and website remain the same.
John Little, Managing Director of Sentinel Systems said: “We’re delighted to have moved to our new premises, and are excited about the opportunities this will bring, from developing and expanding our product range, to improving service for our customers. We’re already feeling at home in Cirencester and are looking forward to recruiting and welcoming new members to the Sentinel team soon.”
