The team from Stroud’s popular hair salon Harriet’s Organic have moved to a brand new salon and have launched their new look brand this autumn at the town’s Five Valleys shopping centre.
The new Medulla salon is based in the transformed mall area at Five Valleys joining a host of new and existing businesses.
And though the salon will have a fabulous new look and name and much more space to grow and expand, owner Harriet Cawkwell’s commitment to “health first” haircare will still be the cornerstone of the business.
The salon has relocated from the High Street to Five Valleys. With four stylists on her books, Harriet is also looking to grow and expand the team and the services Medulla offer in their new premises.
The stylish new salon has a fresh but familiar fit out. The design has been influenced by the warm and welcoming homely environment that Harriet and her team are well known for in Stroud. There is also more space for customers as well as some exciting extra treatments.
All the products used in the salon are made from the maximum amount of organic ingredients and the minimum amount of harmful chemicals – something that customers are looking for more and more from their hair salon.
Harriet said: “One of the reasons I started the business was because myself and other members of my family have allergies and sensitivities to many of the modern products we now use so it was really important to me to find a more natural and organic range of products.
“We’re really excited about the new salon and to be part of the new Five Valleys centre. We’re looking forward to welcoming our existing customers and lots of new customers to Medulla when we open.”
Centre Manager at Five Valleys Dionne Moore said: “Harriet and her team have a great reputation in Stroud and we’re so pleased that she has chosen Five Valleys as the location for the new Medulla salon.
“It is such an exciting time for the centre and the transformation is really taking shape now.”
Further announcements about new companies joining the Five Valleys line up will be announced in the coming weeks.
