Redditch business woman, Sobea Irfan, is celebrating after being honoured at the Redditch Celebration of Women awards.
Self-made business woman Sobea is mum to three boys, owner of a successful firm of lawyers, including the only firm run by a female in Redditch, and still finds time to volunteer for the charity, ‘Onside’ as a legal adviser for mental health sufferers.
Sobea grew up in Redditch and opened Bank Solicitors’ first office in Astwood Bank in 2008, which is thriving and delivering family law services to the local community.
The Managing Director of Bank Solicitors took home the coveted Achievement in Business Award in a ceremony held at St Stephen’s Church. The evening acknowledged the achievements of the town’s own women and Sobea was recognised for her hard work, compassion and commitment to delivering an outstanding service to the local community.
Sobea said: “I am so thrilled to have won. These awards are important because they give women a unique opportunity to acknowledge their successes and become credible and inspirational role models for others. I would like to thank my hard-working team, whose passion and dedication to our clients is what makes the business the success it is today.”
Sobea setup her flagship office in Astwood Bank within a business community that fuelled the growth and services of the rapidly expanding firm of solicitors. Driven by the reputation of the practice, Sobea has extended her services to Bromsgrove and Leicester, providing a wide range of legal services, specialising in Divorce and Family Law, Moving Home, Wills & Probate, Employment and Settlement Agreements and Power of Attorneys.
