A host of Oxfordshire businesses scooped awards at the Beautiful South Awards for Excellence.
The awards recognise and celebrate excellence in the tourism sector and inspire other businesses to reinvest and raise standards in quality, innovation and customer service.
Blenheim Palace won three awards: Gold for Wedding Venue of the Year, another Gold for the International Tourism Award and a Highly commended for the Customer Service Superstar Award.
Oxford Visitor Information Centre won Silver for Information Centre of the Year. The Information Centre on Broad Street in Oxford welcomes half a million visitors a year and helps to ensure that they have the best possible experience while visiting the city and county. Operated by Experience Oxfordshire, the Destination Management Organisation for Oxfordshire, the team offer a multilingual welcome, sale of tickets to local attractions, gifts and souvenirs – many of which are locally sourced, and great expertise of the destination.

We enjoy helping people to make the most of their stays here, exploring the great attractions that Oxford and Oxfordshire have to offer.”
