Cheltenham-based law firm, BPE Solicitors has announced four internal promotions.
Joining BPE’s existing 23-strong Partner group are Adam Kean, Jemma Jones and Anna Wood. Each has made a significant contribution to their department, through winning additional business, client work and bringing new, or strengthening existing, legal offerings.
Since re-joining the firm in 2019 from Bristol-based law firm TLT LLP, Adam Kean has hit the ground running. As part of BPE’s Corporate Team, he’s helped to bolster its regional presence through his extensive network. Adam has a strong background in delivering complex M&A and corporate finance transactions with particular expertise in venture capital and private equity.
Jemma Jones has been in BPE’s Family Team since 2012, specialising in cases involving children as well as assisting clients with finances on separation and divorce. She regularly represents her clients in the family court and deputises as Team Leader when needed, ensuring a continued high level of client support.
Anna Wood has been at BPE since 2011 and has played a key role in promoting and pushing forward the firm’s Construction and Engineering services. As well as looking after a broad range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, Anna is known regionally for her expertise and plays a key part in promoting the construction sector through her role as Club Secretary of Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire Club.
The fourth promotion sees Peter Knibbs recognised for the second time in 12 months, becoming a Senior Associate in BPE’s Litigation Team. Peter, a Commercial Litigator, is a prominent player in the team, not only strengthening the firm’s property dispute and professional negligence services but also being a key support to a number of other teams across the firm, including contentious Private Wealth and Private Client matters.
BPE’s Managing Partner, Antonia Shield said: “Each lawyer has been exceptional throughout their time here at BPE, consistently showing a commitment to our clients and the firm, often going above and beyond what is expected. Never has it been more important in these uncertain times to be able to rely on a trusted advisor and all four are exemplars of just that.”
