Worcester BID said: “We’re creating the Plastic Free Community to free Worcester from single-use. Together we’re tackling avoidable single-use plastic, from the river banks all the way back to the brands and businesses who create it.
We are uniting communities in the fight against single-use plastics. It’s not about removing all plastic from our lives – it’s about kicking our addiction and changing the system that produces it.
Across the UK, small and medium size businesses of all types are rising to the challenge of removing avoidable, single-use plastic. In Worcester, almost 40 local businesses have signed up to the local campaign.
