Persimmon Homes’ West Midlands branch has appointed Dan Hassall to the role of deputy managing director.
Dan, who originally joined Persimmon in 2016, has already risen from his original role of technical coordinator, through roles as head of technical and technical director, to reach his new position.
He said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be taking on this role. We have a great team here in the West Midlands and I look forward to working alongside Stephen to grow the business in an area of great opportunity.
“Supporting customers is the cornerstone of our business, with everyone in the Persimmon West Midlands team working hard to achieve and maintain five-star customer satisfaction ratings.”
Originally from Warrington but now living in Shifnal, Dan will support managing director Stephen Cleverly in his leadership of the 144 strong team who manage Shropshire, Staffordshire, Black Country and Stoke on Trent and will oversee all of the company’s regional operations, based at its Telford headquarters.
Stephen Cleveley, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands said: “I am delighted Dan has been appointed Deputy Managing Director for the business.
“He has strived throughout his career to deliver for our customers and for our staff in the various roles he has undertaken. I’ve no doubt he will continue to deliver in his new role and I wish him all the best for the future.”
Dan will also take charge of Persimmon West Midlands’ work within the local community. The firm’s Community Champions scheme has donated more than £1 million to causes across England, Wales and Scotland, with monthly donations of up to £1,000 donated to local causes and charities.
Dan said: “I hope to continue our work with the local communities where we are building. We have previously supported hundreds of small charities, schools, sports clubs and voluntary groups through our Community Champions funding scheme, and we are always keen to connect with good causes that enhance the lives of local people.”
