This award gives us the recognition we need and deserve. As a company, we worked really hard across the pandemic to help get us out of it and to help get people and businesses back to normal, which during the heights, seemed like an impossible task.
“We hope that winning this award and the success of the Oxford vaccine can put a spotlight on what the UK can do as a whole, promoting our ethos. Our focus as a company is on the people, the people we invest in and the people who incorporate the knowledge for future generations to be able to tackle future diseases.
“I’d like to say a massive, heartfelt, thank you to the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards for awarding us with this, we’ve been working extremely hard working on tackling cures for existing diseases. Also, I’d like to take this moment to thank the team so much for their great work across the past years, working endless hours and missing family and friends to achieve this great achievement.”
Sarah Austin, Director of www.britishbusinessexcellenceawards.co.uk, added: “A true accolade to British Business, all the winning businesses are all worthy of the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence awards. Their positive contribution to the reputation and success of British business has not gone unnoticed and it will be great to see how winning an award of this stature will propel the company into the spotlight, where they can shine and inspire other businesses.
“If it wasn’t for groups such as Oxford Vaccine Group, British businesses would not have been able to get back on their feet as quickly and effectively as they have done. We know the battle is far from over, but we’re confident that with Oxford Vaccine Group playing a part in the vaccinations, we’re closer to the end of the pandemic than ever before.”
