The Worcestershire-based company has been recognised as an e-commerce success story due to the high growth in its international turnover, despite the challenges caused by Covid and Brexit.
OLPRO’s increased international sales enabled the business to move into its new 10,000 sq/ft office headquarters earlier this year.
The majority of OLPRO’s sales come from the northern hemisphere, with many products being sold to the USA, Germany and France.
The company is now in the process of improving its international marketing and logistics further and is expecting to grow international sales by 800 per cent in the next 12 months.
OLPRO’s FSB award has continued a string of high-profile business awards for the company, after being named as the Queen’s Award winner for International Trade in 2021.
Daniel Walton, founder of OLPRO, said: “We’re so pleased to have won the International Business of the Year at the FSB awards!
“Our entire team works incredibly hard to provide our products with the best possible service to customers around the world, and this award is great recognition of those efforts.
“We’ve got big plans in place to grow our international sales and presence even further, so I can’t wait to see where the next 12 months takes us. These are really exciting times for the OLPRO team.”
The ceremony, held on 19 May in Glasgow, was hosted by TV personalities Clare Balding and JJ Chalmers and addressed by Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
