Commercial property consultancy Harris Lamb has been instructed to market the former Specsavers warehouses in Kidderminster further to an extensive refurbishment at the site.
The business’ Building Surveying department oversaw the £250,000 refurbishment of Units 1-3 Vale Industrial Estate on Stourport Road last year as part of the landlord’s preparations to place them on the market.
Neil Slade, of Harris Lamb’s Agency team, said: “This is an opportunity to occupy good quality industrial space in the heart of the country at a time when demand for quality, well-appointed stock is at its peak.
“Formerly occupied by Specsavers, who has since relocated to its new manufacturing and distribution centre in the town, the three units have each undergone a full strip-out of fixtures and fittings, been redecorated and refurbished, while the external areas have been overhauled and improved including the roofs.
“The estate is two miles from Kidderminster town centre, mid-way between Birmingham and Worcester City centresand with easy access to the UK motorway network via junctions 3 and 5 of the M5,” he added.
The buildings, which range from 11,399 sqft to a gross 39,708 sqft, combine warehouse space with integral two-storey office accommodation and service yards, extensive on-site parkingand are available to let individually or as a whole. The owners will also consider a freehold disposal of the whole site.
