Christopher Walker has joined Malvern based drone company DronePrep as Land Partnership Manager.
Local to DronePrep HQ, Christopher went to school in Malvern, studied Interactive technology, video graphics, animation and special effects at university then travelled the world promoting art and presenting in live auctions. Returning to his home territory in Worcestershire, he then gained invaluable experience working in the property industry as well as following his passion for flying drones by developing his own aerial video and photography business. Christopher obtained his CAA/PfCO license to fly UAVs legally and commercially and carried out roof surveys, sports events, group activities and mainly property photography for estate agents.
This new role offers an exciting opportunity for Christopher to utilise his wealth of experience, skills and in-depth understanding of both land/property and drone flying to assist property and landowners to design and communicate drone access policies to the whole industry.
Gareth Whatmore said : “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Christopher to our growing team. The Land Partnership role is crucial to the future growth of our platform and indeed our mission to work with land based stakeholders to open up more airspace for drone use. Christopher brings a wealth of experience from both the land and aviation sectors and we are thrilled to have him here to join in with the next chapter of growth.”
Christopher Walker added: “I am tremendously excited and proud to join such an innovative and pioneering company. I’m looking forward to helping DronePrep unlock access to suitable locations for drone use in the UK by bringing pilots and landowners together, and helping them expand and consolidate their current successes.”
