New “Edible Art” patisserie opens in Cheltenham

A creative new patisserie specialising in colourful and unique pastries and cakes has opened in Cheltenham, showing a remarkable optimism in the town as people slowly return to the high street.

Damien Wager, owner of the new business which is based in The Courtyard, Montpellier, began his pastry career just four years ago, and such is his popularity that he already more than 70,000 followers on Instagram.

Lizzie Nicholas, manager of the patisserie, said: “Over the past four years Damien has gained a reputation for his skills which are recognised worldwide. The unique style that Damien has adopted ensures that guests are given an unforgettable experience tasting the most luxurious of desserts. This is the one and only Edible Art Patisserie at the moment but we have plans to expand further afield.

Edible Art 3Damien established  Edible Art Patisserie Limited in 2017. He launched his debut book ‘Edible Art’ in October 2019 which includes more than 40 recipes and methods for Petit Gateau, Entremet, Macarons, Tarts & Bonbons, and was sold out before it’s release date, with copies being shipped to 39 countries worldwide. He has also been invited into the Valrhona ‘Cercle V’ programme for 2020. Valrhona Cercle V is a loyalty programme created for culinary professionals offering unique opportunities for members to exchange ideas and share expertise.
