New Chamber online webinars provide businesses with Coronavirus support

Hereforshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce

Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is taking its face-to-face events programme online.

Olivia Williams, Events and Training Manager, said: “It has been a difficult time for all businesses who have had to adapt how they offer their services. We have been listening to businesses on what they feel are the major challenges that they currently are facing. Using this we have been able to put together a package of online webinars which allow experts in the relevant subject field to deliver informative online sessions that can address the obstacles that businesses have identified.”

“So far the online events have been a huge success and feedback from Members has been overwhelmingly positive. We are looking forward to providing more informative online sessions to help those businesses who need support and guidance during this time.”

The Chamber has launched its online webinars through a platform which allows businesses to attend informative online sessions hosted by experts. The subjects covered so far include; The financial government measures to help businesses during Covid-19 delivered by Bishop Fleming, Communicating with employees and customers using virtual technology delivered by DRPG, Employment and HR issues delivered by law experts mfg Solicitors, Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme delivered by the British Business Bank, and finally, Managing mental health during the crisis delivered by Glassfull speaker Jonathan Downes.
