The National Cyber Awards, which recognise the breadth of the cyber industry, have announced their 2019 finalists.
The awards are organised by The Cyber Trust, a charity set up to protect those most at risk in the area of personal cyber and online security.
Its emphasis on individual citizens allows to provide training, research, and campaigns that are right for those who need protecting most. This may be for example the young, more elderly, victims of crime or disadvantaged groups.
The awards sponsors include BAE Systems, Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, Titania and Viribus Capital Investments and the judges include Professor Buck Rogers Chief Information Security Officer at the Bank of England, Dame Janet Trotter, of The Cyber Trust, and Dr Bob Nowill, of Cyber Security Challenge UK – a series of national competitions, learning programmes, and networking initiatives to identify, inspire and enable more people to become cyber security professionals.
The winners will be announced at a black tie ceremony at Manor By The Lake Hotel, Cheltenham on April 10.
