A monthly marketing training club run by Worcester-based consultancy Chris Green Media has reached its sixth anniversary.

Members and visitors joined the celebrations at the CGM Business Media Club, which combines marketing and communications training, professional development and networking.

At the anniversary meeting at CGM Media Centre in Blackpole, current members shared experiences with visitors of how the club had shaped their approach to marketing and Grahame Lucas, manager of the club’s chosen charity Worcester Foodbank, gave a talk on the foodbank’s vital role in the community.

CGM managing partner and meeting host Chris Green said: “The club’s continued success is due to our unique blend of listening and learning. Our ‘all egos are left at the door’ approach encourages people from a wide range of businesses and organisations to have their say, to exchange ideas and shape positive strategies based on the concepts discussed at the club.”

The next Business Media Club meeting will be held on Friday, October 25 at 9.30am and the theme is Free Your Creative Self.

Future themes in the 2019-20 programme will include media crisis management, how to make presentations and using storytelling to market the character of your business.
