A local photographer has opened a brand new pop up shop at the Five Valleys Shopping Centre in Stroud.
Tom Durn, aged 27 from Stroud, has travelled around the world capturing stunning shots in places such as Switzerland, Iceland, Bali, Singapore, Italy, New York and Marrakech which are now available to view and purchase from the food hall area in the Five Valleys Market.
Self-taught photographer Tom started his business six years ago whilst travelling around Sydney, Australia – he now runs his own wedding photography business in the Cotswolds along with producing stunning prints for the home.
16 photographs from tom’s ‘Phomadic’ collection are currently displayed for purchase at Five Valleys and new additions will be added each month. Each image can be purchased via a QR code displayed underneath it.
Talking about his new exhibition at Five Valleys, Tom said: “I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to display and sell my Phomadic collection in my hometown, Five Valleys definitely champions the local, independent businesses in Stroud so I’m really excited to be showcasing my work there.
“I like to think my work influences people to travel, and although we can’t travel very far at the moment I hope that my prints bring some escapism into the home – whether it be on a beach in Bali or admiring the New York skyline!”
Five Valleys Centre Manager Dionne Moore said: “Tom’s prints are absolutely stunning and have already proved really popular with our shoppers as they make such wonderful Christmas gifts!”
Tom Durn’s ‘Phomadic’ collection is now available to purchase from the food hall at Five Valleys indoor market, adjacent to the Lilypad Florist. The prints are currently all in black and white but colour version will become available soon.
