Kettler invests £2m in new distribution centre for future growth

Groundwork has begun on a new facility which will enable, Kettler, the Redditch-based garden furniture brand, to significantly improve its stockholding and efficiency.

The new extra-high site will treble the current on-site capacity and is due to be completed in October. The £2 million investment reflects the company’s long term vision for sustained growth.

Kettler Managing Director, Paul Bevington, said: “We pride ourselves on our constant product development, which in turn has created a continuously growing business. In order to ensure we can continue to meet our customers’ demand and to prepare for more innovation in an ever changing marketplace, it was essential for us to invest in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility.

“Once complete, it will allow us to store all our stock on our own single site, instead of at multiple external warehouses. This will, improve incoming logistics and delivery speed.”

Kettler is also the UK’s exclusive distributor of Heston Blumenthal’s Everdure BBQ range and the luxury Jati & Kebon furniture range. The company also distributes a range of leisure and toy products.
