The corporate team at HCR Law in Reading, led by Rachel Turner, acted for Syniti, a global leader in enterprise data management, which has an office in Leamington Spa, on its acquisition of Surrey-based 360Science Ltd.
Syniti helps solve the world’s most complex data challenges by combining intelligent, AI-driven software and vast data expertise to yield certain and superior business outcomes. 360Science is a proven data quality company specializing in matching, deduping, unifying, linking and verifying contact and business data.
The acquisition encompasses 360Science’s technology, as well as the retention of key talent in data matching and linguistics, strengthening Syniti’s expertise in helping customers tackle the complex issues surrounding data. It further cements the company’s leadership position in helping the world’s leading businesses solve their most complex data challenges.
Rachel Turner, head of the Thames Valley corporate team, said: “It has been our pleasure working with the Syniti team on this project. It was our first time acting for Syniti, but we were quickly integrated into their M&A team and made to feel that our contribution was valued beyond just the legal drafting. I was hugely impressed by the constant involvement from senior members of the global finance and legal teams throughout.”
Melanie Payne, Chief Financial Officer at Syniti, said: “The team at HCR provided strategic, business-oriented legal guidance on this transaction and helped us to navigate the complex processes involved in most M&A’s. Rachel’s leadership, in particular, was instrumental in helping us complete this key acquisition.”
