The collaboration will see Kärcher branding in key locations in Kingsholm, and on both the playing and replica kit.
Kärcher, which has its UK HQ in Banbury, was impressed by the vision and ambition of Gloucester Rugby, and has been quick to recognise the challenging environment professional sport faces. Kärcher has also extended their support to both Gloucester-Hartpury Women’s team, and the Gloucester Rugby Senior Academy, with both teams proudly displaying the brand on their respective playing kit.
Simon Keeping, Managing Director, Kärcher UK & Ireland, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Gloucester Rugby Club during these extraordinary times. We both have a long history and belief that resilience and hard work will deliver top performance. Gloucester’s vision and ambition align with the core values of Kärcher, as do the values of Rugby. All of us at Kärcher look forward to an exciting season.”
Alex Brown, Chief Operating Officer Gloucester Rugby, added: “This partnership represents a great opportunity for Gloucester Rugby, Kärcher is a globally recognised brand, their products are known for being excellent, and we are delighted to be working with them going forward. It was clear from early on that the team at Kärcher are passionate about rugby and understand the potential Gloucester Rugby has. We have some exciting plans in place”.
Supporters will also see the Kärcher brand on social media and on Kingsholm’s big screens every time a try is scored, and on the roof of Gloucester Rugby’s historic Lion’s Den.
