Gloucester-headquartered manufacturing company Poeton Industries says it remains fully operational at all three of its production sites and has increased its support for customers working on vital medical equipment required for the UK.
The surface engineering specialists, with facilities in Gloucester, Cardiff and Poland, have taken the necessary measures as detailed by the UK Government to ensure the safety of staff and suppliers whilst also maintain support for customers.
Poeton Director of Sales & Marketing, Sean Hammond, said: “The business is closely monitoring the developments and adjusting our policies to ensure safe continuation of work. We are proud to be doing our bit in response to the increased demand for medical equipment, patient handling equipment and ventilators.
“Our Apticote 350 process is found on several parts that are key to the operation of the ventilator devices. We have been told to expect to see a significant increase in quantity of these parts and have capacity to undertake further work wherever required.”
Poeton, which mainly works on mission critical components, with extensive work carried out in the aerospace, manufacturing and medical sectors, can quickly develop new solutions in response to customer demand.
