Gloucester-based investment specialist Blackfinch has further increased its distribution team with the hire of Paul Lanigan as Distribution Strategy Director.
Paul will be developing the Blackfinch presence in the capital markets arena to include discretionary fund manager’s pension funds, family offices, banks and institutional investment.
With more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, Paul joins Blackfinch from Standard Life where he spent the last 22 years. 17 of those were as part of the leadership team where he held several senior roles including National Accounts Manager, Regional Manager (Investment) and latterly Head of Distribution (London & South East).

Paul is a Fellow of the PFS, a Chartered Financial Planner, holder of the Investment Management Certificate and is a STEP Affiliate.

Blackfinch, which has over £500 million in assets under management and administration, focuses on tax-efficient investments, including Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS) and Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs), and inheritance tax (IHT) mitigation services.
