Dr Diane Savory OBE has announced that she intends to step down as Chair of Gloucestershire’s Local Enterprise Partnership (GFirst LEP) after nearly 10 years at the helm.
Diane steps down at the end of August this year. Now the LEP is on the hunt for someone to fill her shoes and help Gloucestershire bounce back from the economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The LEP’s recovery plan priority is to drive sustainable economic growth throughout the county, creating jobs and business opportunities for thousands of people. We’re led by the business community, in partnership with voluntary, education and public sectors, to help Gloucestershire realise its economic potential.
The LEP says it is looking for a persuasive and influential business leader who will bring direction, energy and passion to the role and build on its reputation as the strategic leader in economic development in Gloucestershire. Could this be you?
It is also looking for a number of new Board members from the Private sector due to the current terms for existing Board members coming to an end.
