Free app that can put your restaurant online helps restaurant sector fight Covid-19

Cotswold Web food ordering app

A free app which can get cafes and restaurants online fast has been launched by Cheltenham-based Cotswold Web.

Owner Richard Jaques and his team put their experience to the test and set about finding a way to get food businesses back up-and-running on line, following the almost total devastation of the leisure sector thanks to Coronavirus.

Richard has a history of working with large corporate companies including Shop Direct Group, Argos and Experian. The collective experience of the executive team includes a strong background of working with small and large companies to provide creative and technical digital solutions.

Richard said: “I’d like to help where I can and the app seemed like a good way to do that. I started by supporting my local pub, getting them online first and have now rolled the app out to other businesses too.”

The award-winning agency was established in 2008 is offering the app for free.

Richard added: “Please go online and take a look at the information about our free online ordering system for restaurants, pubs and takeaways. We can get you your first online order within the next hour. To add food and takeaway ordering to your website, all you need to do is fill in your restaurant, pub or takeaway profile and add the ‘See menu and order’ button to your site.

“You can also integrate the online ordering button to your Facebook business page.”
