Blushes Hair & Beauty announces Oxford as the latest addition to its growing portfolio of salons, opening this week.
Located in the heart of North Oxford, at 4 Little Clarendon Street, which was previously Hair and Beauty Salon, it wasn’t just the location that attracted the owners of Blushes to opening its first salon in this historic city, but a team of existing styling experts from this previous North Oxford salon too. The new Blushes salon are keeping the existing styling team, while also expanding the team to offer new and additional services and products.
The space has been transformed by Designer Lindsey Higgins – who also styled Blushes Cirencester salon – following a Scandinese or Japandi aesthetic, focusing on form, function and simplicity seeing the natural world reflected in the space. The design process was inspired by the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, and in particular a painting called “Waterfall in a high mountain” by Gu Tao. The painting will feature as a mural in the salon.
Operating Director Samantha Sibery said “Off the back of what has been a tough year for the industry, we’re determined to push on and bring to life the vision that we’ve been reflecting on and building for the last year. Oxford has long-since been on our radar, with its historic architectural beauty and charming cobbled streets, we knew that one day we wanted it to be part of our collective and the home of one of our salons.”
