Flight Club prepares to land at The Brewery Quarter, Cheltenham

Flight Club, the award-winning interactive darts bar, has announced its next opening will be in Cheltenham‘s Brewery Quarter in Spring 2022.

The opening will be the chains ninth venue, adding to its current roster in London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol.

Flight Clubs upcoming venue will be housed in a 6,000 sqft. venue, complete with social darts playing area and bar, serving food and cocktails as well as a Social Brunch every weekend.

What is social darts, you ask?

More than just regular darts, Flight Club offers an interactive experience, where players can partake in computer-powered games such as duck shooting and snakes and ladders. The twist is, of course, it’s all controlled by throwing darts at a board.

Steve Moore, CEO and Founder of Flight Club, said: “We are so excited to be joining Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter and can’t wait to reveal more of what we’ve been working on. We’re passionate about bringing unexpected, ridiculous joy to as many people as possible and can’t wait to open our doors next Spring!”

The Brewery Quarter opened in Cheltenham in 2006, and following a £30 million regeneration now offers a range of restaurants and leisure activities, including Cineworld, Mr Mulligans mini golf and Hollywood Bowl bowling, as well as a retail corridor.

Chris O’Mahony, Director in the retail and leisure team at Savills, says: “Over the past few years we have seen a huge growth in experiential venues expanding across the UK as consumers look for new ways to enjoy time with friends and family. Flight Club is an extremely popular venue and we are delighted to have secured them as a tenant at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham.”

Flight Clubs latest venue will follow the recent openings of Indian Street Food specialist, Mowgli, American street food inspired HubBox, and Vietnamese restaurant Pho Café, which is set to open early in 2022.

Nikki Kontarines, Asset Manager of Martin Commercial Properties, Managing Agents of The Brewery Quarter, said: “We have worked incredibly hard and successfully transformed the tenant line up over the past three years. Securing Flight Club is something we are extremely proud of, and I can’t wait for Cheltenham to experience what an amazing concept and offer they bring. It is going to be an exciting 2022 here!”
