Independent estate agency Ginger is opening a brand-new branch in Shirley, Solihull, with the help of Warwickshire law firm Wright Hassall.

Ginger has refurbished 259 Stratford Road – a former RSPCA shop, which has sat vacant since February 2021 – creating a friendly, modern and relaxed environment to welcome local home movers.

Royal Leamington Spa-based firm Wright Hassall supported Ginger with a premises licence for their new Shirley branch, which opens to customers on Friday, January 21.

This will be Ginger’s second branch, having opened their first in Balsall Common in 2016.

Ginger Director Carl Hemming said: “We are incredibly excited to be opening our new branch in Shirley, which has been made possible thanks to the team at Wright Hassall.

“We hope our expansion will support our growth plans, triple our portfolio, and help us to meet the growing demand for homes across Shirley, Solihull and surrounding areas.

“These areas are very popular at the minute due to commuter links, good schools and high-quality shops, and with market demand so strong it makes it a perfect time for both sellers and buyers to get in touch.

“We are holding an Open Day with food and drinks on Friday, January 21, from 12-5pm, so please do pop in to say hello to our team. We look forward to seeing you there!”

Ginger, which has sold more than £250 million worth of property in its six years in business, prides itself on providing a modern, bespoke service to give properties and customers the attention they deserve.

The firm currently works across Shirley, Solihull, Balsall Common, Coventry, Warwick, Kenilworth, as well as surrounding areas and towns.

Nathan Hinks, Associate with Wright Hassall’s Commercial Real Estate team, who helped Ginger secure the lease, said: “Shirley has an incredibly busy and vibrant High Street which makes this an ideal location for Ginger and their customers.

“We are pleased to have helped them with the move as they continue their growth.”

Refurbishment of the Stratford Road site includes a welcoming reception with sofas and a coffee machine, as well as a ‘living wall’.

The branch will be open 9am to 5.30pm midweek, and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays.
