Established recruitment agency opens new office in Oxford

Bond Williams Recruitment

Successful recruitment agency, Bond Williams Professional Recruitment, has opened a new office in Oxford following a period of phenomenal growth.

Fourteen years after launching in Bournemouth, and just months after the second office opening in Southampton, Bond Williams has expanded its team and developed a specialist Engineering, Science & Space division that will be based out of Oxford Science Park.

Directors Rob and Claire Bond have called upon the expertise of specialist consultants, Peter Knibbs and Laurence Doherty, to manage the growth of the brand in Oxford and service clients and candidates across the engineering, science and space sectors.

Together, Peter and Laurence have 30 years’ combined recruitment experience, with a proven track-record for placing talented candidates in permanent, contract and temporary roles within the STEM sector. They both have enviable client portfolios and a deep understanding of the job market across Oxford.

Specialisms covered by Bond Williams Professional Recruitment in Oxford will include life sciences, medical devices, space technologies, chemical and civil engineering, and supply chain and procurement.

The team will also work closely with consultants in Bournemouth and Southampton to support clients and candidates looking for talent or opportunities further afield or in other sectors – Office & Commercial; IT & Software Solutions; Accounting & Finance; and Human Resources.

Claire Bond, Director, said: “The STEM sector in the UK is set to almost triple in size by 2030, which means there are great opportunities for candidates and also a focus on growth from companies operating in these areas. Peter and Laurence boast expert knowledge of the Engineering, Science & Space sectors, which will be invaluable in positioning us as recruitment specialists in this field and support our growth across Oxford.

“Oxford Science Park is also an inspirational environment from which Peter and Laurence can build on existing relationships with employers in the sector and develop new ones with organisations looking to recruit the best talent to help them drive their businesses forward.”
