Gloucester construction company E G Carter & Co Ltd has completed a refurbishment of Axis Trampoline and Gymnastics Club in Bristol.

The work will accommodate the growing needs of the club and its staff, providing a new dance studio, toilets, kitchen, office and entrance area.

The construction work took just over six months to complete, including a 12-week shutdown due to the pandemic. The work included internal layout alterations, remodelling and refurbishment. The finished scheme saw the addition of a first-floor dance studio, improved office spaces, modernised WC facilities and staff break-out space on the ground floor, along with renovation of the main entrance. Although minor in nature, the external works completed have enabled a one way system to be introduced aiding the club with it’s successful re-opening post Covid-19.

Axis Trampoline and Gymnastics Club started back in 2005 and operated for three years under the umbrella of Team Bath Evolution Trampoline Club. In 2008 the club was rebranded as Axis Trampoline Club, and further rebranded as Axis Trampoline and Gymnastics Club in 2015 when it moved into nes premises and started delivering more than just trampolining. It is now Bristol’s biggest and most successful competitive trampoline club.

Axis Trampoline and Gymnastics Club is a not-for-profit community-based club whose purpose is to get as many people in the community from pre-school through to adults involved in their full range of fantastic gymnastics disciplines, promoting both participation and fun at all levels. The club welcome beginners of all ages and with the younger members working towards the British Gymnastics Fundamentals and Proficiency Award Schemes which encourages children to achieve goals and gain awards.
