Glide Media, the region’s leading distributor of leisure and entertainment literature, has joined forces with The Cheltenham Trust and Cheltenham Tourist Information Centre to launch a new range of colourful leaflet display units. The eye-catching unit designed by celebrated local artist Imogen Harvey-Lewis is now on show at The Wilson, and is packed full with ideas for everything from great days out, thought provoking theatre, adrenalin fueled activities and a range of fun seasonal events for the whole family.
Dave Holland, Managing Director at Glide Media, said: “It’s important for us all to play our part in promoting the area and at Glide Media we are always looking for innovative and new ways to support our clients in spreading the word about their events, activities and experiences.”
“Whether it’s pantomime at a local theatre, walking in the Forest of Dean, children’s workshops at a creative space or one of our many internationally recognised festivals, Glide Media is at the heart of it. Our display units are full to the brim with an array of local what’s on information and are always located in high-footfall locations, attracting people to pick up, find out more and explore glorious Gloucestershire.”
The new contemporary unit is the first of many to be rolled out across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds and talented artist Imogen has used her signature style to create an original design to engage with residents and tourists alike, encouraging everyone to explore the local area and its vibrant mix of leisure pursuits.
Laurie Bell, Chief Executive at The Cheltenham Trust said; ‘The Wilson is delighted to support Glide Media and to be the first venue to host the new and artistic information units. As the main destination for tourist information we are keen to welcome visitors to Cheltenham and to promote the wide range of sights, events and activities that the county offers.”
