Leading commercial and residential developer Mulberry welcomed Daventry MP Chris Heaton-Harris to open the company’s new head office in Kilsby, near Rugby.

After outgrowing its former office in rural Northamptonshire, Mulberry has relocated tonew premises at DIRFT on Crick Road; a premier logistics park close  to the M1 motorway.

Mulberry previously occupied converted farm buildings so the new space is better suited to meet the company’s planned growth and expansion.

The new homes arm of the business has ambitious plans for four new developments over the next quarter, including The Templars in nearby Warwickshire village of Temple Herdewyke.

The new office enjoys socially distanced work stations, is light and airy, with breakout areas flanked by meeting rooms.

To mark the opening of the new head office, Mulberry has donated £200 to Green Acres Rural Enterprises, a local charity selected by Mr Heaton-Harris.

Based in Staverton, the charity provides informal education opportunities to primary and secondary school children and their families, and offers continued professional development to teachers. Green Acres Farm helps children learn how to grow, prepare and market food products, gain physical exercise in the countryside and develop useful skills. They also facilitate students gaining workplace experience.

Chris Heaton-Harris, said: “It is fantastic to see the businesses grow and expand in the constituency, and I wish them every success for the future. I would also like to thank them for their very generous donation to the local charity, Green Acres Rural Enterprises. It is a wonderful charity that works with schools, students and families in the local community and I know the donation has been very gratefully received.”

Ian Sadler, Managing Director at Mulberry Homes, said: “We are pleased with our performance this year which remains strong despite the challenging backdrop of the pandemic. And with four new home developments coming soon, we are confident in the property market.

“This new space better meets the needs of our teams and has proved crucial in ensuring our workspace could be made Covid-safe.”

Established in 2004, Mulberry is a national commercial developer and medium housebuilder.
