Carefour based in Worcester has won a Homecare.co.uk award naming them one of the Top 20 home care providers in the West Midlands.
The care provider covers the whole of the Worcestershire and has offered care at home for the elderly and vulnerable adults, for the last 3 years.
They are currently rated as the highest ranked domiciliary care company (based upon client reviews) in Worcestershire, with a score of 10/10 for 2018 and 2019.
Carefour was set up by Leann and Mark Sainsbury after they cared for Mark’s father at home. They later became one of the county council domiciliary care providers.
Their local councillor, Councillor Tony Miller and Elaine Carolan, Assistant Director Strategic Commissioning Adult Services at Worcestershire County Council, visited Carefour to present the award.
Councillor Adrian Hardman, cabinet member with responsibility for Adult Social Care at Worcestershire County Council said “At home care is an important part of how we care for the elderly and vulnerable and to see one of our providers succeed as one of the top 20 in the country is fantastic. It is so important that people who need it receive quality care, so it is wonderful to see one of our providers recognised for this.”
“It is great to see the team at Carefour grow from embryonic stages to today’s success. This award is well deserved for all their efforts. “
Leann Sainsbury, Managing Director at Carefour said “We are incredibly proud of winning this award, particularly because the award is based on the reviews from the people using this service. We offer a people centric approach and aim to treat the people we care for with dignity and privacy, whilst providing the best possible personal care to really make a difference to people’s lives.”
Homecare.co.uk is an independent review site where service users can leave reviews and comments on the care they receive. The Top 20 is determined by these individual reviews.
