Contractor Ivor King signs long-term contract with West Midlands CRM provider

Leading UK sheet piling and bored piling contractor, Ivor King, has extended its agreement with Walsall based CRM provider, BuddyCRM, after saving 10 per cent of administration time, cost and resource over the last 3 years.

Headquartered in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, Ivor King specialises in all types of retaining walls and provides bespoke design and installation services to the Civil Engineering and Construction industries across the UK, with key clients including Balfour Beatty, Skanska, Galliford Try, and BAM Nuttall.

Having originally appointed BuddyCRM in 2017 to overcome the challenge of trying to manage in excess of 1200 annual sales enquiries via [the dreaded] excel spreadsheets, Ivor King has since worked closely with the tech provider to create a CRM system that has streamlined sales processes, enabled collaboration between team members and provided real-time reporting.

In turn, Ivor King has able to restructure its sales process by eliminating time wasted on quoting for duplicate contracts, while being able to run real-time sales enquiry reports to understand how many unique projects had been quoted for during any time period.

Since implementing the system, Ivor King have significantly increased operational efficiencies and saved ten per cent of its costs on administration costs and resource.

BuddyCRM was founded by serial entrepreneur, Philip Mayling, who wanted a simple but sophisticated CRM solution for his own foodservice distribution business.
