A Cirencester-headquartered development consultancy specialising in planning, design, environment, economics and heritage has been named winner of the Planner Award at the TrustedLand Awards 2020.

Pegasus Group, which has 14 offices across the UK, including in London, Bracknell, Birmingham and Bristol, as well as its Cirencester HQ, was established in 2003 and has undertaken many high-profile projects across the UK. Successful projects in this region include Gloucestershire Gateway Services on the M5 Motorway for owners Westmorland Ltd; the Rotunda in Cheltenham (the former Lloyds Bank building) for the Ivy Group, and the Gaydon Design Facility for Jaguar Land Rover at Gaydon, Warwickshire.

TrustedLand is a network of developers and consultants involved in the property industry. Launched in 2018 the company’s platform helps the process of finding vetted and recommended SME developers and professionals faster and more reliable.

TrustedLand helps landowners, agents and property developers to find recommended professionals, consultants and specialists to progress land and property development projects, safe in the knowledge they are working with transparent and verified partners.

The platform was launched by founder Alex Harrington-Griffin. Alex, a former boutique property developer and experienced online entrepreneur, had grown frustrated with the lack of transparency, efficiency and consistency in the space.

Pegasus Group recently secured planning permission for a 50MW solar and battery storage scheme near Swindon on behalf of JBM Solar Projects.

Swindon Borough Council approved the solar farm and associated infrastructure on land at near Stanton Fitzwarren, Swindon.
