Cirencester-based Innovation Automotive (IA), the UK’s first multi-brand, all-electric automotive company, has announced a number of strategic appointments to its Senior Management Team. The confirmation comes soon after the company announced its vision for the UK, to bring a new generation of all-electric vehicles to market.
Emma Soble (left) has been appointed as the company’s Operations Director. Emma has more than 17 years’ experience in the automotive industry and has worked in a range of roles across service, parts, marketing, sales and network development at Mitsubishi Motors in the UK.
Lucy Collins (main photo) has also joined Innovation Automotive as Product & Marketing Director, bringing more than 10 years’ experience in the automotive industry and has worked in roles at Mitsubishi Motors in the UK across service, product, marketing, sales, network development and e-commerce retail operations.
Finally, Catherine Perrin (below) has been appointed as Head of Business Development. Catherine has more than 16 years’ experience in the automotive industry and has worked in a wide range of roles, including sales, product, esrvice, marketing, partnership development with Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, Nissan and EDF Energy.
IA’s CEO Paul Brigden, said: “I am delighted to welcome Emma, Lucy & Catherine to the Senior Management Team of Innovation Automotive as we accelerate our plans to deliver a range of all-electric vehicles, both commercial and passenger, to the UK market. We are attracting some exceptionally talented individuals to Innovation Automotive, building a team of experts to launch the company and I’m excited to see how the Company will flourish.”
Innovation Automotive says it want to do things differently. It’s dispensed with the idea of a traditional dealer network. All of its vehicles will be available to order online allowing customers to tailor their car or van, financing and any additional products to meet their individual requirements.
Its test drives will all be available to book online and it will offer a comprehensive after care.
The first brands that Innovation Automotive will distribute in the UK will be DFSK and Skywell, with the class-leading DFSK EC35 compact panel van the first vehicle to go on sale in early 2022. This will be followed by the DFSK EC31, an electric chassis cab van, the company said earlier this year.
DFSK is a Chinese company which produces microvans, flat-bed commercial trucks and passenger vehicles. DFSK is operated jointly by Dongfeng, a major Chinese car maker and Chongqing Sokon Industry Group.
IA also has an exclusive agreement to provide Skywell commercial vehicles and will be introducing Skywell products to the UK in the near future.
