Cheltenham’s CyNam attracts strong support

CYBER September Cynam event (Medium)

The strength of the cyber sector in and around Cheltenham was confirmed, once again, by a strong turnout at the latest CyNam event, held at Jury’s Inn next to GCHQ.

CyNam, (Cyber Cheltenham) was launched earlier this year as a non-profit making organisation based in the heart of the UK’s cyber security community in Cheltenham.

One of the most well-attended networking groups across Gloucestershire, CyNam supports the cyber security ecosystem that flourishes around Cheltenham. The September event was hosted by Chris Dunning-Watson of InfoSec People and speakers included Ian Maxted of Gloucestershire Constabulary talking on policing in the digital space and James Geary from Randall & Payne accountants on the value of R&D tax credits to the digital community. Also speaking were a business psychologist, and Silver marketing agency on ‘storytelling in the digital space’.
