The ICAs are the only independent insurance awards where the winners are voted by the general public, rather than a panel of industry experts.
Having worked with students for over fifty years, Endsleigh have strongly positioned themselves as front-runners in the student insurance market. Endsleigh design their policies and marketing activities around student lifestyles.
Chief Commercial Officer, Jason Mann, said:“This award is a mark of excellence and the fact we’ve won it four years in a row really reflects our expertise as student insurers. Students are at the very heart of what we do as a business and the fact we’ve been recognised by our customers, particularly this year as students are facing so many challenges, is really, really important to us.”
Endsleigh was established in 1965 in London (on Endsleigh Street) by NUS to champion affordable insurance for students, when others wouldn’t.
In 1972 the business moved from its London base to the country, in Endsleigh’s case choosing the leafy town of Cheltenham for no other reason than the 1970s government, doing a spot of social engineering, was offering financial incentives for companies to move out of the capital and reduce overcrowding, and Endsleigh founder and managing director Mike Naylor liked the Cotswolds.
