A Cheltenham business providing care and support to help people remain in their own homes has doubled the size of its head office to allow for expansion and to ensure it offers a Covid-19 secure environment.
Caremark Gloucestershire only started providing home care services in 2017 and in three years has grown from a team of 12 staff to the current 55.
This growth, prompted by increased demand from people who would rather stay in their own home rather than going into residential care, meant the company has moved into larger office space at Cheltenham Film Studios.
Michael Folkes, Managing Director of Caremark Gloucestershire, said: “We’ve grown rapidly in the last three years and now provide homecare for people across Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and the surrounding area.
“Cheltenham Film Studios is a great location for us, so we’re pleased to have been able to remain here, but now in an office which is double the size of the previous one.
“In particular, we now have a large training room which will enable us to train staff safely, as well as continuing to provide e-learning as well.”
Caremark Gloucestershire worked throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent government lock-down, ensuring people could continue receiving care in their own homes.
Michael added: “We’re increasingly seeing more enquiries for our services, either funded through the council or privately, and this is down to word of mouth.”
