Business & Innovation widens your window to the world

Kirsty Muir 2019

It’s a tumultuous time for every business, and that goes for Business & Innovation Magazine too. Our team are fine, and we’re all working from home. We hope you are too – stay safe, stay in if you can, but stay connected. We salute all those key workers who are keeping critical areas of the economy going.

No-where across the UK economy is it business as usual. And that goes for us too. For the next month or so, we  have switched our energies to our website and will not publish our planned May issue. We will make a further decision on our July issue at the start of May. Our decision is in line with publications across the industry.

Instead, we are investing in and concentrating on our website to maintain a window to the world for the businesses who, more than ever, need to raise the profile of their business.

Kirsty Muir, Commercial Director and Co-founder of the business, explains: “We’re doing this for three reasons. One is that a large number of our B2B Business & Innovation Magazine database recipients, the business leaders, decision-makers and senior managers, are working from home and are not in their offices to receive our posted magazine. We also feel that it’s not appropriate to send extra mail out using our hard-working postal service who, as key workers, are putting in long hours to deliver essential items to those stranded at home.

“It’s also because we are a small business at the start of our fourth year of trading and want to bring Business & Innovation Magazine and NK Media Ltd through this crisis and out the other side.”

Business & Innovation Magazine is concentrating on the reason we launched in 2017: To keep the business community well-informed, reveal new business opportunities, and celebrate success. And if we can’t do that in print at the moment, we’ll concentrate on offering the best regional online business news service available.

Over the last six few months we’ve significantly increased website content, running hundreds of stories from across the region to keep the business community well informed.

And the next few months, we will put all our energies into boosting digital output even more.

Companies trading through this crisis will need to maintain awareness of their products and services, and Business & Innovation Magazine is the ideal platform to do this.

Our digital opportunities:

Combined Reach jpegThanks to three years of successful growth and expansion, Business & Innovation Magazine has a strong brand, a very loyal senior B2B audience and efficient digital means to reach them via our B2B website and our B2B e-newsletters which will now be twice-weekly.

We have spent time creating additional inventory on both of these products including a new website option called a “footer row takeover”.

We have put together brand-new digital packages for our customers who want to engage with the business community and show visibility of their teams, products and services during these unprecedented times.

Kirsty Muir can chat through these on the phone and will call you if you send her your mobile number. Or she will welcome a call from you on her mobile number: 07971 912020.
